Damn it, I typed a long four paragraph post about my thoughts on the word evil, and its underlying meanings. It's a word that is used too often. I mean come on.. evil is defined as any thing immoral.. the person who came up with that must have did it for a good laugh...
Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry for the entirely negative responses you sometimes get. I joined Gather with the express purpose of only using it for creative outreach (no politics or religion) as I use other sites for those. But I just had to give you at least a ping of welcoming and love because I felt that you weren't getting that at all. Internet provides such anonymity that people can be brutal and harsh. Plus tone is hard to convey.
I practice tolerance and whole heartedly believe that any God or gods do too. But unfortunately that means tolerance for people who aren't tolerant themselves.
The inside, gut feeling of acceptance of yourself is God.
Blessings. Just know that there are many of us who don't do politics, etc. on Gather who do have tender hearts and welcoming minds.
